The brief for this project was to take the poem “Thrift” by Tony Curtis and convey it visually, so I chose to make a film. I thought about how I wanted to show the metaphors used throughout the poem, and decided that I would do that through the audio, mixing natural sounds with man-made imagery. I composed the music for the film as I wanted it to sync well with the visuals. It was a really enjoyable project to work on, and I’m quite happy with the outcome, hope you enjoy it! Thanks to the poet, Tony Curtis, and to Robbie Kitt for lending his voice!
